Why It Matters
The Fur Ball is Coastal Humane Society’s largest fundraiser of the year and plays a vital role in sustaining our programs. Proceeds support emergency veterinary care, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, medical procedures, and end-of-life care for pets across Dare and lower Currituck counties.
Because of this event—and the generosity of those who attend—we are able to respond when families face unexpected financial hardship and help keep pets healthy and at home where they belong.
